Help Feed Our Local Youth

Adopt-A-Youth is partnering with Backpack Friends to combat childhood hunger in our community.

Providing Weekend Nourishment: Backpack Friends is currently supporting approximately 700 children each week by providing them with food to sustain them over the weekend.

Promoting Healthy Lifestyles: We've taken a crucial step forward by incorporating drug awareness resources into these food packages. This proactive approach aims to educate children about the dangers of substance abuse from an early age.

Addressing Urgent Need: Despite our efforts, a heartbreaking 210 children remain on the waiting list for this vital food assistance. We urgently seek your support to provide these deserving children with the nourishment they need to thrive.

Feed Our Youth: Implementing programs to provide nutritious meals and snacks to youth facing food insecurity.

Youth Empowerment & Development:

Free Camps for Youth: Offering a variety of free summer camps and after-school programs that provide recreational activities, skill-building workshops, and opportunities for personal growth and development.

Mentoring Youth: Establishing a robust mentorship program connecting youth with positive adult role models who can provide guidance, support, and encouragement.
